Volunteer Opportunities

serve a meal

Throughout the week, the Prime Timers share delicious meals together for breakfast and lunch, thanks to volunteers who bring prepared food to Skyline and serve it to grateful members of the program. One of the best ways to bond is through enjoying lovingly cooked meals, so this program is a great way to enjoy the company of others. Church or school groups, clubs, families and individuals are all invited to take part in the fun. Anyone interested can volunteer for a day or may make a recurring commitment to visit each month or whatever arrangement is convenient to them. Breakfast is served Monday - Friday at 9 am, and lunch is served at 11 am. Saturday morning at 8:30 is brunch time at Skyline, when Prime Timers and other patrons all join in enjoying the great dishes that have been provided. Plates and silverware can be provided, so volunteers do not have to worry about bringing these items.

presentations, guest speakers and activities

Prime Timers love to have special guests, whether they are presenting valuable, educational information, playing music, or encouraging an active lifestyle with simple exercises and activities. If you are knowledgeable with a topic that you think the Prime Timers would benefit from or simply want to visit to lead games of bingo or play cards, your participation would be greatly appreciated.
