Skyline Urban Ministry: Needs and Wishes

The McKee Center

NEEDS:

• 1,500 packages of socks (all sizes needed)
  

• 1,500 packages of underwear (boy, girls, mens, & womens)
  

• Heavy duty metal rolling cart
  

• Digital convertor box for out TV
  

• coffee, artificial sweetener, coffee creamer
  

• heavy duty divided foam plates
  

• large foam take out containers
  

• foam bowls and plates
  

• volunteers for answering phones, data entry, and Christmas Grace
  

• oatmeal
  

• raisins
  

• brown sugar
  

• drink mixes:  sugar free and those with sugar
  

• Meals for our senior citizens, CLICK HERE for available dates.
  

WISHES:

• Flower beds
  

• Raised beds for a vegetable garden, vegetable seeds or plants in Spring
  

• An amp and good microphone
  

• A gas grill
  

• A couple of computers with Internet access for our senior citizens
  

• A DVD player with a USB port to use for displaying photos on our TV
  

EYE CLINIC

NEEDS:

• One or two more doctors to see patients at our facility or in his or her office.  Doctors decided how many patients to see according to his or her schedule. 
  

WISHES:

• A minus phoropter in good condition
  

• Eye glass cases.  Used is okay, if in good condition.
  

FOOD PANTRY and 8TH ST. BUILDING

NEEDS:

• New phone system for the 8th street office (contributions will help)
  

• Crane rental for 2 or 3 days for securing the roof on the steeple (about $2500)
  

WISHES:

• Lanscaping projects around the building (can be adopted by groups)
  

WEEKEND MINISTRIES

NEEDS:

• Current Hymnals in good condition
  

WISHES:

• Banners for sanctuaries
  

• Altar cloths
